Think Local For Your Savings
Regardless of where you live, I encourage you to support community businesses. Many local businesses have
suffered or no longer exist because of big businesses that have taken market share.
Successful local businesses must serve their customers well or they will not survive. Think of the added value that
they provide you: products or services, attention, information, relationships, proximity, community service,
etc.
I was listening to a Shelley Ellis teleconference on the content network and she mentioned a website that caught my
interest: Local.com.
I live in a small town and wondered what they had for me? It provides great information: local restaurants,
reviews, traffic, favorites, & coupons!

If you own a local business, be sure to take advantage of Local.com's free listing.
Local.com is a great resource. Be sure to check it out, and if you benefit from a coupon listing, even
better. Remember that coupons have more than one function. Yes, they will save you money,
but they are also meant to initiate a relationship - if there is value, please take advantage of
that relationship.
